Financial Controller – Manufacturing – Permanent Position

A growing manufacturing company is looking to add a financial controller to its team.
The role is aimed at a structured, analytical person who is close to operations, enjoys understanding the numbers behind the field, and contributes to the improvement of management tools.
Reporting to the financial director, you will participate in the accounting and financial management of the various companies in the group. You will be involved in monthly financial statements, year-end processes, support for the accounting team, financial and operational analyses, as well as the evolution of the ERP.
Your Role
You will act as a key person between finance, operations, the accounting team, and management.
Main Responsibilities
Produce and analyze monthly financial statements
Participate in the accounting and financial management of several companies
Prepare year-end files for external accountants
Ensure the reliability of financial information and reconciliations
Support the accounting team in daily priorities
Assist management in various analysis mandates
Participate in the improvement of management tools and the ERP
Contribute to the sound financial management of the group

Desired Profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, control, or finance
Experience in manufacturing highly desired
Experience in a multi-company context: an important asset
Good mastery of Excel
Comfortable with ERPs; Prextra is an asset
Good understanding of inventories, costing, and operations
Advanced French
Intermediate English, an asset
